Federal and State Legislative and Executive Branch Issues That Impact The Teaching of Electronics

During every session of the US Congress and the California Legislature, bills, resolutions, and measures are introduced which have a impact on occupational education in general  and electronics technology education in particular.

Likewise, all year round, the Executive Branchs of the Federal and state government institute studies, make rulings, and approve policies and procedures that  similarly impact occupational education.

This page is designed to keep you abreast of pending legislation and executive branch actions that will affect your professional career.  The members of the Executive  Board of CCEI encourage you to follow the posted links, review the online material, and take appropriate action.  If you see merit in the proposal, the Board urges you to write and/or E-mail the listed key  officials.  If you are opposed to the proposal, you should, likewise, contact the listed key officials and express yourself.

It is early January and both Houses of Congress and both Houses of the California Legislature are just getting organized.  Bills and proposals will soon be flooding the various committees.  Watch for updates and action items.
