Teaching Jobs

Since the early days of CCEI, one of the functions of the organization has been to keep members advised as to employment and growth opportunities in  the field of electronics technology education.  The organization was also able to link teachers seeking employment with school systems looking for new teachers.  Usually, schools with teaching openings and  members seeking employment made announcements at the Saturday Business Meetings of the Fall and Spring Conferences.  The practice has been underutilized in the past few years because of the limited number of new  teaching jobs available, the low number of members seeking to change employment status, and the fact that CCEI now only holds a Fall Conference each year.

Therefore, the Executive Board has authorized the  establishment of this page on our Web Site to broadcast teaching openings and teacher availability in the public and private sectors.  Positions at all levels of instruction are encouraged--private industry, middle  school, high school, community college, proprietary school, and university.  Members seeking employment are encouraged to submit areas of qualification and a contact e-mail address.  When openings occur in  your district, encourage your HR Department to forward an announcement to the CCEI Web Master and the position will be posted on this page.  If you yourself or someone you know is seeking employment have them send a summary of their situation to the CCEI Web Master.  Announcements in the form of printed bulletins or e-mail  postings are acceptable.
